[Troop351] 2024 Cotton Row Run Troop 351 support 5/27

Service Opportunity - Every year Troop 351 volunteers at the Cotton Row Run. This is a great (easy) way to get hours towards your advancement requirements for service hours. We are supporting a water station at mile 3 for the 10k next Monday morning (5/27), located on south side of Fagan Springs Apartments at 2515 Toll Gate Rd SE this year, not the finish line like before. 

 

We have a few people signed up (see below) but could use some more Scouts and adults. Please respond to this email or the thread on Band.

 

5:30: Meet at Scout shed

5:45: Leave Scout shed (about a 25 min drive)

6:45: Water station setup completed 

~9:30: depart for Scout shed (will send updated timeline that morning)

               ~10:00 arrive at Scout shed

 

They will provide trash cans, tables, cups, etc for us. We should take our Troop tent/awning if we want shade.

They will provide t-shirts.

Police will follow last runner and then there will be a cleanup crew behind them to help us. 

Uniform will be Class A with neckerchief; either BSA shorts or pants are ok.
