[Troop351] Troop 351 Calendar

Draft 2022-23 calendar is attached.  And I'll continue to attach it to
updates for the next few months...just like last year.

The troop wants to do a number of small, extra, things. The boys did a
wonderful job of adding fun extras to coincide with that months program
plan and scoutcraft.

Those are in a column called 4th Saturday fun.  And anyone willing to plan
these smaller, few hour events, can heavily influence the day of the
month.  Have a contact at Browns Ferry Nuclear???  Volunteer to make some
calls so we can set up a tour.

I've started putting the events in Scoutbook.

Login, and check your contact information.  If that information is up to
date, then we can handle RSVP to events and permission slips there.

We are always looking for Adult leaders to "trek master" an event.  Using
 scoutbook removes even more obstacles for our parents to take the lead on
executing the things the troops want to do.

Things our adults/committee have done to make leading a trek easy:

   - Dues cover expenses so you don't have to collect money
   - Electronic receipts for reimbursement so grub masters or adults can be
   refunded easily.
   - Checklist of must-do's and suggestions for treks so new trek masters
   can work step by step...AND cover all the safety needs.
   - Scoutbook for RSVP, roster reports, requirements tracking to automate
   invitations, responses, and organize comments OUTSIDE of email threads.
   - Scoutbook for permission slips so there is no need to manage the paper
   print outs...but you could if needed.

Also, using scoutbook *adds* tracking, permission slips, and formal
planning to events like Escape Room, Huntsville Havoc night, or Spartan vs
Patriots dodgeball.
