Courtesy of your trek master Camron Smith, the information is much like
last year and he fetched and wrote up the update.
I updated the event/RSVP in scout book, and while more and more scouts and
parents get on scoutbook there will duplicate messages.

Please be prompt so we
can get signed in and make sure all the waivers are signed.
You need to be picked up at 06:00 on Saturday morning.
What to Bring
Food – Snacks provided and individual/personal snacks are okay.
Water – Bring a water bottle
Equipment –
Active clothing to climb, optional change of clothing for sleep and travel
home the next day.
Sleeping bag, pillow, optional ground pad (the ground is like a gymnastics
floor, soft and
comfortable).
Toiletries.
Have a mask with you - We follow Asbury policy, and though optional please
have one with you in
case you find yourself in need. And Troop 351 wants you to keep your germs
to yourself. If you're
sick stay home! We can arrange a smaller day trip to High Point if you miss
or want to go again.
Personal Gear –
Most of the time is spent either climbing or playing games. Bring a game.
There is really no requirement for other personal gear other than what you
want to have fun and be
comfortable.
We try to reserve phone use for situations where we need it helps, and we
would expect phone use
to be at a minimum for HP...there are too many fun, active things to do to
waste the time on a phone.
Your scout book.
Message from High Point:
The party room is equipped with tables and chairs. The kitchenette has a
sink, refrigerator, and ice
machine. You may bring in any food items and drinks you would like for the
participants.
A few more things:
•The gym is being rented from 10pm to 6am.
•Let everyone know it is best to show up 15 minutes early so we can start
on time. We will need to
check everyone in, get their gear on and do an orientation with everyone
before they can climb on
their own.
•Climbers should wear comfortable clothes and gym shoes.
•Staff will be on hand to monitor participants, if you would like to have a
staff person belay for the
climbers in addition to using the autobelays, you can rent a belayer for
$30 per hour.
Please let us know ahead of time if this is something you would like to do
so we can schedule staff accordingly.
Please let us know if you have any questions at all and we look forward to
seeing you.
