[Troop351] Troop 351 Philmont interest meeting (we have dates now!)

Troop 351,

Exciting news! 

     We recently let you know that we were pursuing a trip to Philmont Scout
Reservation next Summer and had signed up on their stand-by lists. Philmont
offered an expedition to us a few days ago for June 13-25, 2027, so we want
to initiate the process of organizing and training for it. The first step is
to determine whether there is sufficient interest within the Troop or not
though.

We need to identify between 5-9 youth and 3 adults who can commit to the
financial and training requirements for the trip. 

*	Eligibility (per Philmont): 
o	Adult: 
*	Registered and current with training
*	At least 3 who are 21 years old or more (adults 18-20 may also
attend if space is available)
o	Youth 
*	14 years old, or 13 years old and completed 8th grade by 6/13/27
*	Troop guidance:
*	Demonstrates age-appropriate maturity who can attend and contribute
to training
*	Preferred to have achieved First Class rank before June 13, 2027

     I will conduct a no-obligation interest meeting from 6-7 PM on Monday
Sep 14, 2026 at the Asbury Gym building in the kitchen while the Troop
conducts its Patrol Leader's Council meeting and then again on Sep 21, 2026
from 6-7 in the same location. You're welcome to attend both but only one is
necessary.
