[Troop351] February Backpacking, March Camporee

It's time to start planning for upcoming camping dates.  We have dates in
the troop calendar through April.

*February Backpacking*
We have 2 or 3 groups going backpacking in February.  Our main date with 2
groups is at the end of the month, and if we have interest we will have
another option for a group to backpack President's Day weekend.
Feb 28 - March 2: Backpacking with 2 groups.  Max registration 20 including
adults
Feb 15 - 17: Backpacking 1 group: Max registration 10 including adults

We are planning routes in Sipsey Wilderness with a group size limit of 10,
so each group will plan their own trails.

*March Camporee*
March 28-30 @ WestMoreland
We will be attending camporee at Camp Westmoreland.  The troop will need to
register soon.  Please RSVP in the troop calendar so we can submit a
headcount for our registration.  If you might attend, please mark yes and
we can adjust our numbers down later.

A little further out, but we have already started planning
*April Talladega Race*
April 25-27 is the Talladega race.  We've purchased our first batch of
tickets.  We plan to purchase a smaller second batch of tickets.  Please
send me and Kristy Smith (kristina.l.smith1 at hotmail.com) an email if you
would like a ticket in this second batch.  The number of tickets will be
limited to the group size we can support.  We can use more adults to attend
this event.
