[Troop351] Troop Updates

I hope you are enjoying your Labor Day weekend.  We won't be having our
usual meeting on Monday.  Please take a moment to look at these important
dates below.

*September 6:*
HAMR Bike Race - Parking Volunteers
We need an adult volunteer.  We plan to meet at 6 am at the scout shed and
depart soon after. We should return by 9:30 am, with specific return
details posted to band.  Please see the roster of scout volunteers
following these dates.

*September 8:*
First PLC after elections.  We will meet at 6pm before the troop meeting.
It is important for each patrol to have a representative, so patrol leaders
and assistant patrol leaders should plan to attend unless they've
coordinated for only one of them to be there.  Other important roles are
SPL, ASPL, and Scribe.  Other youth leaders may attend and contribute.

*September 12-14*
Backpacking at Savage Gulf.  Be sure to sign up on the scoutbook calendar.
We only have one meeting before we go backpacking.  We are working to
support a group departing Friday and a group departing Saturday.  If you
are interested in going on Saturday, please let me know.

*October 18 & 19:*
We will be painting targets at the Rimfire Challenge World Shoot.  Please
make sure to get your name down for one or both days.  Everyone who
participated last year had a blast.

*October 24-26:*
We will be camping at Lake Guntersville.  Invitations will be going out to
Arrow of Light scouts so that they can join us.  We need as many leaders
and older scouts that are available to join us.
