Review the roster for the outing this weekend (at the very bottom). Check
for your name, and let me know if we need to change.
We will be camping at Mr Geartners in Arly AL. There is access to a
bathroom.
We will have the troop trailer to transport troop equipment and personal
gear.
Be prepared for swimming and watersports. Sunscreen, changes of clothing,

*Notes from Mr. Geartner*
I am looking forward to the weekend, I hope you all and the boys are. We
are still several days out but the weather doesn’t look terrible, there are
some chances of rain but we can probably live with that.
- Camping
- There is the grassy area at the top of the property that you have
used in the past is available
- There is power and water available at my little shop
- There is a big burn pile if they want to burn it up and the fire
pit with some wood at the end of the trailer
- You can park the trailer in the gravel drive at the top and any
other vehicles in the driveway for the trailer, that will help keep more
space available at the top for patrol areas and cooking
- There are 4 bathrooms available for the boys to use, 2 in the
trailer, 1 in the big cabin and 1 in the little cabin
- Adults
- The trailer and both cabins are available for anyone that wants to
stay inside
- 3 bedrooms in the trailer with 5 beds (3 full & 2 twin) plus a couch
- 2 bedrooms in the big cabin with 2 beds (full) plus a couch
- 1 bedroom in the little cabin with 4 beds (2 full & 2 twin) plus a
couch
- Water Sports
- The jet ski is available for use but will have to be driven by the
adults
- I am fine if the boys want to drive as long as the adult is with
them and comfortable with the boys abilities to operate the
jet ski under
their supervision
- Tubing and skiing behind the boat (and also behind the jet ski if
anyone is not riding it)
- 2 kayaks and 1 paddle board
- Noodles and life jackets for swimming
- The boys can fish if they would like, worms and crickets work great
on the bluegill around
- It might be best to fish from the shore since so many will be
swimming and boating from the dock
