Scouts looking for an activity this summer may consider a weeklong Laser Camp at the observatory on Monte Sano:

The camp runs July 17-21. Students will learn how to produce a laser light show and the camp is working on equipping local schools with the equipment necessary for their students to produce laser light shows at pep rallies, band concerts, and other events.
