[Troop351] Summer Camp Transportation

All,

We have a very large group of scouts going to summer camp this year.  We
have a lot of adult leaders helping out as well.  While we have enough
seats to get everyone to camp, it's going to be a tight squeeze.  If anyone
is available to help with transportation there or back, it would make the
trip more comfortable.  We could use another driver for departure or return.

We will have a nice picnic lunch just outside the smoky mountains on the
way there.  Camp is on the Cherokee Reservoir (part of Holston River) which
feeds into the head of the Tennessee River.  We'll get a guided tour of
camp when we arrive, and take our swim tests.

The return trip will depart from camp out of the east Tennessee mountains,
with a stop for lunch near Chattanooga.  If you come Friday evening, you
can enjoy the campfire program and a meal with us before we return home
Saturday.

If helping with transportation is something that interests you or you have
questions, please let me know.  We'd like to finalize plans the week before
we depart, so let me know by Monday the 12th if you can help with either
(or both) parts of the trip.

Departure: June 18th departing Asbury approx. 6am with meet up prior to
departure
Return: June 24th departing camp approx. 8:30am

Family night is Friday evening.  If you would like to arrive Friday night,
a meal is available (reservations needed).  Only registered leaders are
allowed to stay on the property overnight, so overnight accommodations will
need to be planned independently if this is something you would like to
do.  For registered leaders that would like to stay at camp Friday night,
let me know so I can verify we have a bed saved for you.
