Troop,

Philmont opened their lottery for 2024 treks today. This is an incredible experience and if you don't care for hiking, you can even do a trek on horseback. Scouts and Adult Leaders that have an intetest in this should email me as soon as possible.

Participants must be 14 years of age OR have completed the 8th grade and be at least 13 years of age prior to arriving at Philmont.

Each Philmont Expedition Crew must have at least two BSA registered adult Advisors that are at least 21 years old.. For Troops, a participant 18 through 20 years of age may be counted as a youth or be an assistant adult leader.

Each crew is required to have a majority of youth participants, and the maximum number of adults is four (4) per crew.
