[Troop351] 2022 Cotton Row Run support sign up

Scouts / Parents / Leaders: Thank you to those who have signed up - I know it is a holiday weekend and appreciate your time. 

Update for Monday’s (5/30/22) run:

*	Our Troop will be helping with final set up, shepherding runners across the start/finish line, handing out water, and other general support (downtown Huntsville on Church Street between the Art Museum and YMCA near the canal)
*	Uniform will be Class A (with neckerchief)
*	Timeline

*	5:30 AM: Group meets Mr. Cybuck at the Scout shed/trailer Monday morning in order to depart at 5:45. He will have breakfast snacks. Stewart and I will be arriving downtown at this time to help with a few early things. 
*	5:45 AM: Group departs Scout shed
*	6:15 AM: Group arrives at race start/finish line
*	7:00 AM: 10K race start
*	~10:00 AM: finished and depart for Scout shed (may be earlier, depending on race situation)

Folks,

     As mentioned at a couple of our weekly meetings, the next Cotton Row Run is coming up on May 30th. This is the traditional date for the run – recent years have been different due to Covid. We need about 4-6 Scouts and a couple of adults to help set up the finish line and then to hand out water bottles to finishers.  This is a great way to support the community and to get some service hours. 

We’ll follow same plan as last year – 

5:30: meet at Scout shed

5:45: depart Scout shed

6:15: arrive downtown

7:00: first race starts

~10:00: return to Scout shed (will send updates that morning based on how things are going)

Uniform will be Class A with neckerchief – BSA shorts or pants at your discretion
