[Troop351] Annual Dues for Troop 351

Troop 351 Families,

It is that time of year where annual dues come, well, due. The dues cover
the costs of rechartering the Troop with Scouting BSA, and they provide
free access for Scouts to all monthly outings throughout the year (summer
camp excepted).* The cost for membership in Troop 351 is $300 for Scouts
($150 if the Scout has earned Eagle rank) and $50 for Adults.* Here is how
these dues can be paid:

   - If you are already on the monthly subscription plan for your Scout,
   you don't need to do anything extra to cover their dues! Please just
   monitor your subscription when it hits its 12th month (different for
   everyone, especially newcomers) to make sure it renews. If you'd like to

   - Direct payment via PayPal: Please send the dues payment to

   - Use of popcorn monies, deferring reimbursement for purchases made on
   behalf of the Troop, getting a reduced rate due to your Scout aging out
   early in 2023, or using other available Scout funds: Contact Timothy Lang (
   tjlangco at gmail.com) to receive a reduced quote for your dues.
   - Financial hardship: Please click here

   application that will be reviewed by the Committee Chairman and then
   referred to the troop's Treasurer. The name of applicants will not be
   shared with any other leaders or Scouts.
   - Check - This is least preferred as I will be out of town quite a bit
   for the next few months. You can make the check out to Troop 351 and mail
   to Timothy Lang @ 102 Starchase Ln, Madison, AL 35758. You can also give
   your check to a Scoutmaster. However, be aware it may take some time for
   the check to be cashed.

Compared to any other extracurricular activity, Scouting continues to
provide an incredible value and produces phenomenal results in teaching
leadership and outdoor skills. Our fundraising activities help cover the
costs of awards, troop equipment and to subsidize the cost of campouts,
keeping the cost of Scouting affordable.
