*It is time to go camping!*

Review the roster for the Camporee outing this weekend (at the very
bottom). Check for your name, and let me know if we need to change. Fill
out the permission slips. Grub masters, if you haven't already, use the
roser to figure out the number of servings. If there was an add since
yesterday don't worry, no one will go hungry.

We will be camping at Camp Jackson in Scottsburough AL. We are leaving *earlier
than normal* to get more fun and maybe a campfire on Friday. We will have
the troop trailer to transport troop equipment and personal gear. The
weather is forecasted to be hot and cold and dry (have layers),
temperatures reaching highs of Low 80s during the day and lows of high
50''s at night. Yes...you will need sunscreen AND a hat :)

Since the weather has a big range please have appropriate clothing to keep
you warm at night and cool during activities during the day.

There is access to a bathhouse with showers. We have several options for
non-Talacktoland activities like ax yard, hiking, plunger throw,
conservation, etc. so be prepared.

It is a great idea to look through your book and see what you need to get
signed off and be prepared to get it done. There will be plenty of adult
leaders with pens ready to sign off in your book. Take a look at the
requirements for merit badges and know what you need to get signed off.
