[Troop351] Weekly Update

New scouts; we will have rope at camp this weekend.  Some of the rope
related requirements are tough, but we will teach you and it will be fun.
You could say, you have "knotting" to worry about.  :)

*April 18 Meeting*

   - *Sign up for camporee*
      - Meal planning
      - Extra patrol camporee gear
         - Patrol Flag
         - Compass
         - 2 4 foot staves
         - Sturdy blanket
         - Matches
         - Duct tape
         - Patrol first aid kit
         - Paper, pencils
      - Uniforms - May will have a uniform contest, but why wait, wear your
   uniform today (and at camporee)
      - Pants are the toughest - Does an enterprising parent want to
      organize a size swap?
      - Slides can be second toughest - search youtube for make a
      neckerchief slide
   - Choose 2 possible *backpacking treks* for May
   - *Hand in *summer camp schedule
      - The scouts all received a printed schedule
      - Let's suppose, maybe, however unlikely, they lost it... email

*Announcements*:

   - April 22 OA Camporee - Camp Jackson.
   - *Sign up* TODAY, or
      - Email me and Mr Sperr  Robby at sperr.org ASAP if you wont make the
      meeting but you still want to go.
      - *Review your requirements,* consider being a grub master.
      - Check out the attachment - Talk to your patrol *about extra
      Camporee gear*
   - May 20th should be backpacking, and a trek that should include options
   for first time backpackers.

Parent reminder:

   - Need a backpacking trek master for May backpacking
   - We have checklists, removed the need to collect money, and are looking
   for new trek masters.



   - Come to the committee - see what its all about and how you can help.
      - We need a secretary and a "Webelo Whisperer"
      - You can help your boys have the best scouting experience even if
      you can't go camping or be at Monday meetings (committee things are
      typically Thursday).


   - Don't want to pay dues in a lump sum?  Do what I did, subscribe via
