Over the past two weeks, Claire Aiello from the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber spoke at both our District Committee Meeting and Roundtable about the upcoming
<b>UCI Para-Cycling Road World Championships</b> coming to Huntsville over Labor Day weekend (September 4-7).</div>

One of the opportunities available is for Scouts to participate in the <b>awards ceremonies</b>. Scouts selected would be in full uniform and would not only be representing their unit, but also the Talakto District and Scouting America on an international stage.</div>

For the awards ceremonies, we need <b>4-6 Scouts per ceremony</b>, with an <b>equal mix of boys and girls</b>. Scouts should be
<b>13 years old or older</b> and able to follow instructions, conduct themselves professionally on stage, and represent Scouting well.</div>

The preferred opportunities are <b>Sunday and Monday</b>, as those are the Road Race days. These races and awards ceremonies will be carried on the UCI YouTube channel, which has approximately
<b>700,000 followers</b>, giving our Scouts an incredible opportunity to be part of a world-class event and showcase Scouting to an international audience.</div>
